• Clear Pictures Acquires Thriller

    Los Angeles, California – September 19, 2014. Clear Pictures Entertainment has optioned “The Flamingo Affair” by Marty Weiss. The screenplay is based on Weiss’s novel to be published in 2015 about a former IRS agent who goes undercover as a wealthy playboy in the Cayman Islands to track down sheltered financial criminals.

    Elizabeth Fowler will produce for Clear Pictures. They have recently made “Devil's Knot” directed by Atom Egoyan and starring Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth, and are in pre-production on “Facing The Wind” with Joe Berlinger directing and Vera Farmiga, Evan Rachel Woods, Alessandro Nivola, Rita Wildon, Jennifer Beals and Melanie Griffith starring.

A New York crime reporter, the son of a former Police Commissioner, pursues a serial killer until he has to choose between identifying the killer and unmasking a secret his father meant to take to his grave.
